First of all, we have an ANNOYING dog named Ladybug across the street from us, who likes to come into our backyard, (our fence isn't finished) and eat Libby's cat food. (And we're not the only ones that have to be careful that she doesn't take and leave leftovers . . . like terds). :) So one day me and Alex are in the backyard playing with Libby, and then that dumb dog comes into our backyard like it's no big deal. So I chase her out of the backyard and on to the side yard. Then I start having fun with it, and stare her down. Frowed eyebrows and everything. And I don't know exactly what Libby was doing at first, I thought she was crazy, but she ran to a stop right in front of Ladybug, arched her back, and started hissing. AND GUESS WHAT?! LADYBUG WAS SCARED!!!!!!! She would start to back up then jump and bark, then back up, bark and she ran away. I LOVE YOU LIBBY!!!!

Grandma you're so helpful . . .
One day we were at Grandma Clark's house, being babysat while Mom & Dad went off enjoying themselves. . . . JK I love spending time with my Grandmas. But anyway, Grandma had some pumpkin pie and ice cream out for us.(Thanks Grandma!) And of course none of us could resist Grandma's home-made pumpkin pie!! So we all accepting the generous offer. As Grandma started cutting the pie, Spencer said, "Look it's a pack-man!" "Spencer," Grandma said, "would you care to help me with cutting the pie?" Spencer took one look at the pie and said, "I can't cut anything . . . except for cutting the CHEESE!" And Grandma says, "Oh, you like cutting the cheese? Well then, next time we have crackers and cheese, I'll make sure you're there to help me cut the cheese." If she only knew . . .

Temple Dedication/Cecret Lake
Yesterday Dad, Mom, Me, & Spencer went to the Temple Dedication. I am glad that I was able to go. Spencer's favorite part was the hankie wave/hosanna shout. It was funny to watch him! After the Dedication, we went to Cecret Lake. That was fun! We hiked with Colleen, Don, & their family, Grandma Sally, & Jim.(Jim's my Grandma's friend way back when). There were a lot of "microphones" (sunflower thingies). Alex and Jace would sing the ABC's into their microphone over and over! And finally when we got to then lake, we skipped/threw rocks across the water. Everyone had so much fun, especially Clara! I had the camera, so I wanted to take pictures of everybody. So I would say, "Jace! Do a silly face! Clara! Throw a rock! etc. And I would keep hearing Clara say, "Appen! Appen! Dis one good?" "Yep, that one's good!" I'd say. Then she would throw it into the water, (after it bounced off the dirt first) and she would say, "tah-dah!" She is sooo cute! After that, we went to the temple to take pictures. (That's why we're all in hiking clothes). The temple looked sooo pretty! I took most of the pictures cuz I love using the camera! Maybe I'll put one on my wish list! :)
Let's Go On A Car Ride
Yesterday, we were in the car, not the the van, so all the kids were claustrophobic, (at least I was anyway). And we were going up the canyon . . . the WINDY canyon. So every time we turned, each of us, (the kids) got more carsick. So I took a nap. Then a little later Spencer's says, "Uhhhh, I think I'm carsick." Then Alex says, "Uhhhh, I need to burp!"

Jace

One time I slept over at my Grandma/Aunt Colleen's house, and I was waiting for Grandma to come home from the Amptheater, so I watched TV with Jace and Clara. (My cousins). Colleen was having a stressful day, so Uncle Don came to comfort her . . . and kissed her. Then Jace says out of nowhere, "Look Aspen! my mommy and daddy are kissing! EW! Do your mommy and daddy kiss?" HAHAHAHAHA!!! He's so funny!
I Got Braces!!!
YAY! I got braces! Right now my colors are turquoise.
When I was little, I had REALLY crooked teeth . . . just like Spencer's :) And so then I got braces, then took them off and got a retainer. Then I lost my retainer, and then I found it, and tried to squeeze it back on, but it didn't fit. So now I have braces again!! But I had to get my teeth pulled to make room for my eye teeth. :( Oh well.
A Child's Prayer
One night we were having a family prayer, and it was Alex's turn. And on our previous Sunday, we were told to pray for President Monson, Elder Utchdorf, Elder Eiring, and Bishop Enger. This is how his prayer went.
Dad: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this day,
Alex: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this day,
Dad: please bless Bishop Enger, President Monson, Elder Eiring, & Elder Utchdorf,
Alex: please bless Bishop Enger, President Monson, Elder Eiring, & Elder Utchdork!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! And we were all laughin and Alex looks at us, "SHH! I'm sayin a prayer!" HAHAHAHAHA!!!! He's so cute!
